Mr Jens Getreu is a Control Systems Engineer and has worked as a researcher and consultant in business process reengineering. In 2004 he became a Luxembourgish civil servant and was teaching IT and computer programming.  Some years later, in 2008, he joined the national IT curriculum committee. Jens holds degrees from the Technical University of Darmstadt (Dipl.-Ing.  Control Systems), the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (Environmental Sciences), the University of Kaiserslautern (Civil Service Examination) and received in 2017 his M. Sc. in Cyber Security from Tallinn University of Technology with cum laude. His early publications deal with  scientific modelling and its limitations in the areas of natural and technical systems. His current PhD research at Tallinn University of Technology focuses on cyber security and embedded system security.
